the short version

this policy explains what SnapPerps collects when you scan, trade or contact us, and what it does not collect.

photos

scan images are sent to our server and on to a vision model to identify the object. we do not store them. the share card photo stays on your device.

scan log

for every scan we store the tier and a timestamp. for adjacent and none results we also store the object label and a sha256 hash of the image.

trading data

we store your wallet address, balances, positions, transfers and the single-use nonces that verify your signed actions.

how we use it

to run the venue, to verify signed actions, to answer messages, and to decide which markets to list next from the scan log.

security

money movement runs inside locked database functions, prices are only fetched server-side, and every action is a wallet signature checked on the server.

no system is perfectly secure, and on-chain transfers are public by nature.

services we rely on

a vision model provider processes scan images, a market data provider supplies prices to our server, supabase stores application data, and vercel hosts the site.

we do not sell data or run advertising trackers.

retention

trading records are kept to run the venue. used nonces are pruned after a day.

your choices

you can withdraw your idle balance at any time and stop using the app. you can ask us about the data tied to your wallet address.

local storage

the app uses your browser's storage to remember your last wallet, your last scan and your share card photos.

clearing site data in your browser removes all of it.

wallets and chain

your browser wallet and robinhood chain have their own policies. transfers you make are recorded publicly on chain.

changes

if this policy changes, the new version is published on this page with a new date.
